Scoring

Players score "Goals" according to the performance of each of there 6 selections on each matchday with goals awarded according to the odds of winning and placed horses as follows.

1. Winning selections score goals according to their final starting prices as follows: .

Odds On - score 2 goals
Evens to 9/2 - score 3 goals
5/1 or more - score 4 goals
10/1 or more - score 5 goals
20/1 or more - score 6 goals

2. Placed selections score goals according to their final starting prices as follows: .

Odds On - score 0 goals
Evens or more - score 1 goal
10/1 or more - score 2 goals
20/1 or more - score 3 goals

Placed Selections apply as follows:

• 2-4  Runners,  Winner Only
• 5-7  Runners,  Winner, 2nd
• 8+   Runners,  Winner, 2nd, 3rd
• 16+ Runners (Handicaps Only),  Winner, 2nd, 3rd, 4th

Results

After all 6 races have been run on matchday each players match result is declared. The time of declaration currently varies as Tipster Cup results are processed manually and not by an automatic process. I will usually have the results posted within 2 hours of race 6 being completed.

Tie break rules

Tie Break rules will apply as follows:

- The winner of the match will be decided in this order of priority;

(a) The player scoring the most goals over both matches (Aggregate Score);

(b) The player scoring the Most Goals in the Away Leg;

(c) The player with the Biggest Winner (SP) over the 2 Legs;

(d) The player with the most winners over the 2 Legs;

(e) The player with the highest Official Ranking on 1st of the Most Recent Month after the completion of Leg 2

(f) In the Semi Final and Final, clause(e) does not apply and the Administrator will confirm the process for settling the match

Starting Prices

For the purposes of goal scoring the official returned starting price is used to determine the number of goals scored by each horse in the 6 races.

In the event of no official starting prices being returned the official Tote dividends will be used to settle selections as follows:

1. Goals scored for winning selections will be based on the official Tote Win Dividend declared;
2. Goals scored for placed selections will be based on the official Tote Place Dividend declared;
3. In the event that no Starting Price of Tote prices are declared, ADMIN may settle the results at its own discretion which may include voiding the race, or races, or determining prices based on its own considerations.  Admin decision in this matter if final.

Walk Over

In the event of a race being a walkover (ie, only 1 runner declared or remaining following non-runners) then that race will be settled as an odds on loser and 0 goals awarded to all players.

Dead Heats

In the event of a dead heat for either Win or place the full number of goals will be scored by those horses involved in the dead heat with no deductions applied to the returned starting prices.

Stewards Enquiry/Objections

In determining the race results for each match; the official declared race result for all 6 races on matchday will be final following any Stewards Enquiry or Objection. Results subsequently ammended on a date other than on the day of racing will be ignored. First Past The Post selections are not accepted.

 If a player wishes to question a posted result please do so using the Messageboard.

Non Runners

In the event of any of a players horses becoming Non-Runners then the players non runner selection will be replaced with horse no1 on the racecard. In the event of horse no 1 being a non runner, then the replacement selection will be horse no 2, etc.
